First Annual Feeding the Future 5K
Feeding the Future has announced it will host it's first annual 5K at the Chattanooga Area Food Bank on June 30, 2018 at 7:30 AM. The race will also feature a Mile Run/Walk and a Kid's Half Mile Hunger Dash. Registration is now open and will remain open until day-of when the race begins.
Prices
5K: $30
1 Mile: $20 ($25 if you would like a t-shirt)
Kid's Half Mile Hunger Dash: $15 for the ($20 if you would like a t-shirt).
The money raised through the 5K will sponsor the Chattanooga Area Food Bank's Summer Food Program - which aims to reach families with meals throughout the Summer months while school is not in session. Every $1 Dollar supplies 4 Meals, so one entry into the 5k provides 120 meals.
This is an easy way to get your family involved in helping your community and getting some early morning exercise! So, come on out and let's Feed the Future!
